“Not everything that is faced can be changed; but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” - James Baldwin
We recognize injustice.
We recognize the direct effects of injustice on our communities of color.
We recognize the need for equity.
Green Tree is a safe space in South L.A. offering classes and workshops which promote mindfulness, health, sustainability, healing, skill development, community building, and activism.
We believe in positive change.
We believe you do too.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
By giving a donation equivalent to the price of an average L.A. yoga class each month, we can continue to #giveyoga to our South Los Angeles community and pay our instructors, expand our mindful, community-based social justice programs, and offer scholarships for teacher training.
#giveyoga to support access to healing and health.
Help us reach our goal of 70 new monthly #giveyoga members by the end of 2018!
YOUR GENEROSITY ALLOWS US TO:
– Provide scholarships to South L.A. residents to participate in our 2019 yoga teacher training
– Hire a diverse set of certified yoga instructors
– Expand our programming to offer more workshops that address specific needs in our community (e.g., horticulture, trauma-informed yoga, all-bodies yoga, police violence education, economic wellness, etc.)
– Support our youth programs and outreach to schools in our community, allowing us to provide subsidized yoga and meditation classes for children
Offering Yoga and Meditation services to the South Central Los Angeles community, and beyond, regardless of income, allowing that which connects us to flourish and dissolve that which separates us.
